Gunfire Complaint Leads to Drug Arrest

A complaint about shots fired led to a drug arrest.

Whitley County Deputy Jonas Saunders and Detective Derek Eubanks went to Bambi Court where a man was allegedly shooting into the air. After arriving on the scene, deputies found 21-year-old Justin S. Seeley, of Corbin. No gun was located but he did have brass knuckles in his pocket, and the sheriff’s office says Seeley had an active warrant for his arrest. As he was being transported, Seeley began to act suspicious. After questioning him, two small bags of suspected crystal meth were found inside one of his shoes.

Seeley was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
